So the boyfriend will be doing something awesome this August. Something that we have been discussing ever since we started going out roughly four years ago. And to celebrate, I thought about giving him a lomo camera. It was supposed to be a surprise but we are not very good at hiding things from each other.

Browsing through his choices, I met this beauty:

How cute is that?  I want it FOR ME and not for the boyfriend, obviously. The best part is that you can assemble the camera yourself. Wait, that’s not the best part. The best part is that you can customize the look  of the camera. I can mod podge that thing to crafty perfection!

Plus I’d look fun with that hanging from my neck and wearing this outfit:

As for the effect of this particular camera, I am guessing most photos will look like these (but with more vignetting):

Above photos were taken by me with my trusty Nikon D40. You will probably wonder why I’d want a Gakkenflex when I already have a DSLR. Unfortunately, the D40 is heavy and I am just a teeny girl. And did I tell you the outfit factor? Plus I will not be  too scared to bring it with me wherever I go because it’s only 1/8 the price of my D40.
