Every year, the export processing zone of our province holds a trade fair. The venue is in another island and requires quite an exhausting trip but Line and I braved it last Sunday.

I got loads of fabulous items at huge discounts that I think I will be going back at least two times more. Here are my favorites among my loot:

1) Dress form pin cushion in script fabric. This screamed Meream and I had to buy it. 2) Bed for Ty the Cat. 3) Traditional Filipino game that I have forgotten how to play. 4) j.crew top for only $2.80. SCORE!
PSA: For those who live in Cebu City and want to check out the trade fair, take the van going to Save More in Mactan. There are vans aplenty in SM and Ayala. From Save More, walk a few meters towards the skywalk. You will then see a fenced place with lots of tents to your right. Enter and shop!
The trade fair will run until the end of December.

We have that traditional game as well! It’s called congkak here, but I’ve also come across an m- word to describe it… perhaps as an old mobile phone game. They used to use little stones, then marbles, and now plastic pellets that look uncanningly like M&Ms. =P
Love the top too!

We probably stole the idea from you. Our culture is basically borrowed from mainland Asia. Haha
