Despite the weather being a huge wanker, the miniature pastries I ordered online arrived without delay. And the lovely seller placed some sets inside tiny glass jars. I was too excited to play with them that I bumped my knee against the corner of the bed frame. Which, of course, led to a “So THAT is how I get bruises on my knees!” As I type this, the knee I bumped is turning an ugly side of purple while the bruise on my other knee has become barely noticeable.
But back to the miniature goodies…

Of course, I had to use the jars to store coffee beans (whole and slightly crushed):

Inspired, I made hanging lamps for the miniature cafe:

These are large filigree caps glued together and skewered with eye pins. These were attached together using wood glue because, I am not ashamed to admit, I am still completely enamored with wood glue.

If I had even one percent of your creativity…I’d be a lot more creative. Sorry–I boxed myself in with an awkward wordage choice :)

Seriously, how do you come up with these brilliant ideas? You must have the most nimble little fingers to work with all those tiny things!

These miniature goodies are adorable! My grandma used to make these kind of things. I wish I had been paying more attention when I was little so I would know how to now.
