Told ya I’m on a crafting roll.

This is the first time in over 10 years that I made pants of any type. You will notice that every piece of clothing I’ve featured here doesn’t have a crotch area. This is because I don’t have a serger. And in my head, serged edges are essential for making pants of any type.

I was inspired, however, by the way my machine handled stretchy fabric when I made my drape cardigan. I braved the fold-and-sew technique for the edges of these shorts’ parts and was rewarded for my efforts. Yay!

The pattern I used was THIS PAIR. I included pockets on only one of these shorts because I’m OMGlazy. Yes, I am.
