Remember the DIY fabric poppies I made for my Christmas tree a few years ago? I always thought I could do a lot more of fun crafty projects using said DIY flowers. And so I came up with this:

For “gardening” instructions, please refer to my ROSETTE CHRISTMAS TREE TUTE.

NOTES:
1. The canvas I used is small. I feel that this DIY fabric flower piece will create more impact if you choose a bigger base.
2. Instead of threading a bead to the center of your rosette, you can use pins pinned directly to your canvas. I think gold thumbtacks will look great with the white fabric.
3. Yes, I am aware that these poppies look like crazy eyes.

So pretty! My neighbors have beautiful orange/red poppies in their front yard…you may have inspired some living room art for me…

The “what is that?” factor is what makes it mysterious and extra special! Another great tutorial Meream! :)
